Molly & Jonathan's Chattanooga, TN wedding was effortless, simple, beautiful and one of a kind. Their love for each other was all that mattered when it came to planning the big day. They were surrounded by family and friends as they said their wedding vows at The Church on Main. The entire day was filled with joy and excitement for their future together. The Lord was greatly praised on their special day and Katie Jewell Co. captured each moment perfectly! I hope you enjoy som

There are not a lot of words that perfectly and adequately describe this wedding day. I can't seem to know where to start, but that is because the pictures say it all themselves. You all know that Chaney and Max are great friends of mine, so being able to serve them and their families on this special day was such a joy. It was probably one of the most fun weddings I have ever had a part in. It exceeded all my expectations and beyond. Spending the day serving Chaney, Max, thei

Mr. and Mrs. Carrick!! What a beautiful day this was. It may have been roughly 3 months ago since Lauren and Matt's wedding day, but the memories are so clear. The ceremony was held at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. If you've been there you know it for the extra large and gorgeous foyer and the super long center isle. If you haven't been, you should find some time to fix your eyes on the beauty. A large floral cross arrangement on the stage made it all stand out and gave the

It was a beautiful day in Birmingham, AL for a fall wedding. With the ceremony set at First Christian Church and the reception at North Shelby Library Emily, Bruce and their guests were in for a very special occasion. We had a list full of wonderful vendors to work with. Each helped make the day smooth and stress free. Emily wore a custom gown by the one and only Heidi Elnora. The dress was long sleeve with detailed fern lace all over. Ferns are a favorite of the brides and t

It's the start to another exciting wedding week! Saturday, November 4th is the big day and I can't wait. Not only is November my favorite month of the year, but it is such a beautiful time to have a wedding in the middle of fall. Lauren and Matt are a wonderful couple. I have known them a little since college at Samford University, and have gotten to know them better through church. They are such a great couple and I am honored to get to serve them this weekend! This beautifu

What a sweet couple these two are! I can tell the great love they have for each other every time I'm with them. I haven't known them that long, but I can already tell they are a special pair. Their wedding day will be one for the books. The ceremony is at the beautiful First Christian Church on Valleydale Road and the reception will be held at the North Shelby Library on Hwy 119. Each detail expresses who they are through and through. I can't wait for all of you to see how gr

Your wedding date. Well this is an obvious one. You can't have a wedding if you don't have an actual day set for your special event. It can be an easy decision or a hard one to pick just the perfect time. Here's a few tips for picking the best day. 1. If you live in the South, where college football is life (and I'm not exaggerating), then take extra consideration of the day and time. I know, it's crazy! 2. Time of year. Spring and Summer are popular times to have a wedding.

    Chaney & Max's Engagement

Chaney and Max. What a couple! I have known these two for years. Chaney and I have been friends since we were in elementary school and Max since the summer before our freshman year of college. Who would have known that our high school graduation beach trip would bring this pair together. In Santa Rosa Beach, FL on a May afternoon, Chaney and I and 11 of our closest friends met Max and his buddies from Missouri. After staying in touch over the past 5 years, it was so cool to s
    Making the Leap

    Making the Leap

I've been contemplating this decision for a while. When I graduated from college I thought starting my own business was exactly what I wanted/needed to do in order to get going down the path I thought I wanted, but the Lord had other plans. I lost interest. I couldn't even figure out how to start. If it wasn't for the help and encouragement from my mentor and family, I would not be writing this today. I'm finally making the leap to start my small business. Two months ago I ha
